The first time I played squash, in 2023, Jeff, our club pro, took me onto the singles court and exhausted me in twenty minutes. I kept coming back. KWRC is a community that has rallied together to make it the best place for me to live, laugh, and love, and I now sit on its board.

Bringing padel to KWRC
Padel is the first new sport at the club in twenty years, and I helped bring it in.
I sat on the padel committee, which worked out what adding padel to KWRC would take. On the board, I worked to keep the project aligned with the rest of the club, so a new sport could grow alongside squash instead of competing with it.
Court repairs
Volunteered a lot of hours in 2025 repairing the doubles and singles courts. The singles lines went green, our club and city colour, which was my idea.
